Inside Resort
the glenrock is a destination itself, where a hotel stay is way beyond good food and comfortable rooms. While the excursions and in and around the resort provide you great many experiential features, the iconic River Belihuloya which is just a few feet below, offers our guests rare nature based luxuries only a few luxury nature resorts can offer to the world traveller. In addition to that, many sporting and leisure activities with the nature are unique Inside Resort features the glenrock offer. We highly recommend at least two nights (ideally four nights) to get the best from your holiday experience.
Rock-lined Natural Pool
Fed by a stream coming from the River Belihuloya Rock- lined Natural Pool sits right by the Peellaside Restaurant and flows out feeding the rice and farm fields to the rice fields. It is free of chlorine and/or any other chemicals (unlike in artificial pools where same water is recycled for around two years).

Belihuloya river
The wondrous Belihuloya River captivates with its cascading flow and refreshing waters. Originating from Horton Plains, it passes Baker’s Falls and Galagama Falls before reaching the Belihuloya River. Traveling a further 2000 meters to Ulugalathenna, the river undergoes a natural oxidizing process, resulting in its purest form upon reaching Belihuloya. Nature’s marvel, this river offers a captivating and serene experience.
Natural Pool on the river
While not as large as the Rock Lined Pool by the restaurant, this irregular natural pool on the river provides you a blissful natural experience and ideal for a refreshing dip to tick the experience of ‘bath in a river’ in your ‘Checklist of experiences’ .

Fishes have the ability to stimulate acupuncture points, promoting the regulation of the nervous system, body relaxation, and fatigue release. Fish therapy salons offering fish therapy in artificial tanks around the world at a rate between $ 30 – 100 for 15 minutes. While the impression that the water used at such artificial fish therapy places is treated with ultraviolet light and heating, in reality, the water may well not be changed between sessions and alarmingly the ultraviolet rays do not rid the water of harmful bacteria from previous clients( In fact, if ultraviolet light strong enough to kill bacteria is used, it could hurt and even kill the fish).
